Site transferred on July 6th 2009, the first interaction design book I've got and the first wireframes I ever made.
The old web host that hosted http://stevejbayer.com hadn't been answering replies since late 2008 so in Early 2009 I purchased a web hosting package at a new server host when the hosting at old webhost was supposed to have expired. I moved a few sites over to the new host but stevejbayer.com and a couple of others were kept running on the old host as the the sites used a Drupal multi-site setup and a transfer would not have been that straight forward.
The old webhost woke up and pulled the plug on the 4th or 5th (the old web host kept the hosting account service running despite it expiring in early 2009) so I transferred http://stevejbayer.com to the new host on July 5th. The last backup of the database was on the 2nd so if any wiki edits or additionas (I opened the wiki to the public to edit on the 1st of July 2009 , I have revisioning in place so nothing is ever deleted permanently) have been made between the 2nd and 5th of July 2009, you have my apologies for missing information.
I also just got Bill Moggridge's (he designed the first laptop) book 'Designing Interactions' today. It was over 2 years ago that I drew my first wireframe I got introduced to interaction design as an information archiect on June 22nd 2007 and drew my first wire frame (it mimicked a certain well known social networks layout) on June 25th. My first wireframe which didn't have site specifications can be seen downscaled below:

The first specced wireframe I made was on July 2nd 2007 (downscaled below:)

Yes, its much easier to learn to sketch/illustrate the elements of a webpage but much more difficult to write out the functional specifications for a first time wireframer.

The quotes below are from Don Norman’s article: Design Thinking: A Useful myth …more important, and more legitimate reason to embrace the term “design thinking.” It positions design in a unique way, forcing companies to view design differently than before. The emphasis on “thinking” makes the point that design is more than a pretty face: [...]
