Vista's Windows Explorer Restart Error

Vista's Windows Explorer Restart Error while viewing media files got fixed with the installation of Xvid codecs.
Apparently if Win Vista Explorer previews a file and doesnt find a codec, it restarts itself.
FFdshow may have been enough for XP but Vista's Windows Explorer demands cannot live without Xvid codecs alongside it.
