http://drupal.org/node/219584 is the thread
The title probably sounds alien for users new to Drupal so before I explain what the improvement is about, I'll explain what a code patch is in the CMS called Drupal.
In Drupal, (a CMS or more accurately a web construction toolkit) is constantly updated and improved every day. As with most software, a collection of improvements is released as a new version such as Drupal 5.1, Drupal 5.2 etc..
In between each release, the software code in Drupal is improved by creating and then applying what is known as a code patch.
In Drupal 5.6 and Drupal 6.0 when a user goes to a page and clicks a link called configure on the following page:

When they click configure on the page above, they should land on the page called configure but instead they land on a page called View as shown below where despite clicking on the configure link, the user has landed on another page with the configure link deselected:

What I proposed was the link in the first picture to be renamed to have the page title of its landing page. Configure link in the first photo is now called View which is the name of the page in the second picture.
In Drupal 6.0 RC, the landing page is called edit and the link is called configure.
Now thanks to my proposed solution, the link (previously called configure) and the page both now could have the same title once I write a patch.
Edit: I have made a patch and it looks like it could be integrated into an official Drupal release.

While http://stevejbayer.com and http://stevebayer.net both have a google page rank of 4, I'm mothballing and pulling content from there over to http://stevejbayer.com since stevejbayer.com has a lot more visitors than stevebayer.net
Exercising my theming skills, I've transformed http://stevejbayer.com/resources into a replica of its stevebayer.net counterpart. That's right, I got the pushbutton theme to work on just one page of the site thanks to http://drupal.org/node/139766 while the remaining pages share a different theme. There was a bit of sidebar juggling involved as the theme in use right now (Barron) has the left sidebar as the default sidebar but displays it on the right. A bit of switching php calls and td (gasp a drupal core theme uses tables?)
