My take on persona's of online users in Kochi. The following information is not from a formal study; it is based on what I have gathered from living in Kochi since October 2006 and therefore is not richly detailed being non formal research:

Priya:

• Call Center Worker
• Usually accesses the internet from the office
• On the lookout for a better job

Renjith:

• Student in Year 8 of school (14 years old)
• Uses internet from home
• Interested in learning things that would make him popular with his friends

Sri:

• Store Keeper
• Accesses internet from a cafe on an occasional basis
